Potato Sausage Hash

Craving a hearty, cheesy breakfast hash that’s secretly packed with flavour? 🧀 This Sausage & Potato Skillet is the ultimate one-pan wonder—perfect for brunch, breakfast-for-dinner, or lazy weekends. Loaded with crispy potatoes, melty cheese, and spiced up with The Secret Ingredient – The Spice Age, it's comfort food at its finest.

 

Ingredients

  • 4–5 sausages (Italian, breakfast, or whatever you’ve got), sliced
  • 3 cups parboiled potatoes* or frozen hash browns
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2–3 tbsp The Secret Ingredient Seasoning – The Spice Age (adjust to taste)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1–1½ cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your favourite blend)

*Parboiled = boiled just until tender, then cooled.

 

Preparation

Sizzle

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, sauté chopped onion and bell pepper until soft. Add parboiled potatoes or frozen hash browns and cook until golden brown and crispy.

 

Spice it Up

  1. Return the sausage to the pan. Sprinkle in The Secret Ingredient Seasoning – The Spice Age and toss to coat everything evenly. Taste and season with salt and pepper if needed.

 

Cheese It

  1. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the skillet and cover with a lid until melted and gooey. For a crispy cheese top, pop it under the broiler for 1–2 minutes—but keep an eye on it!
  2. Serve hot and dig into the deliciousness. Perfect with eggs, toast, or just a fork and good vibes.
